Join us for a journey through time and emotion, where the notes of history and innovation harmonize to create an unforgettable musical tapestry. Celebrating anniversaries of timeless compositions and showcasing brilliant arrangements, this concert promises to be an immersive experience for all.

Embark on a musical odyssey with “Origin” by Nishimura, a captivating piece which will set the stage for the evening’s exploration. Then, travel back two centuries as we commemorate the 200th anniversary of Mendelssohn’s majestic “Overture for Winds in C Major,” a timeless masterpiece that still resonates with power and beauty. Our program will continue to dazzle, with Adam Eccleston’s mesmerizing flute performance in Bulla’s “Rhapsody for Flute and Wind Ensemble.” Grace Baugher’s poignant “Remembering the Remarkables” pays tribute to extraordinary individuals in the women’s suffrage movement, while Tchaikovsky’s stirring “Finale from Symphony No. 4” captivates with its grandeur of the romantic symphony era.

The excitement will reach new heights with Leonard Bernstein’s iconic “Symphonic Dances from West Side Story,” a vibrant homage to the beloved musical. Garrett Bond takes center stage in George Gershwin’s timeless classic “Rhapsody in Blue,” showcasing the piano’s brilliance in an unforgettable performance. Finally, we conclude with Respighi’s monumental “Pines of the Appian Way,” marking its 100th anniversary with a triumphant flourish.
