The Rose City Pride Bands
Dining Out for Life is an international event that occurs in over 50+ cities around the country and Canada for one purpose – to support persons living with HIV. It began in 1991 and continues today.
While people are able to live a long and healthy life today with HIV, it is still critical to ensure there is access to medical care and support services – that is what OHSU’s Partnership Project and EMOs HIV Day Center do every day for almost 1,000 persons throughout the Portland Metro Area.
There are a few ways to support Dining Out for Life:
Dine – Go to one of the many participating restaurants on April 30th, 2020. The list can be found here: diningoutforlife.com/portland
Volunteer – The restaurants need ambassadors, these folk will help promote the event during the day and support the host restaurants. Volunteer training is April 2nd from 6-8PM at the EMO HIV Day Center. Contact: ceves@emoregon.org to sign up
Host – Are you a restaurant, coffee house, or pub? Do your values align with ours? Please consider being a Dining Out for Life participating restaurant. Please reach out to Dining Out for Life Portland by March 30th. Email: lagermes@ohsu.edu
Thank you for supporting Dining Out for Life.
