Membership Expectations

  • VOLUNTEER: All Rose City Pride Bands members are expected to share the responsibility of promoting and supporting our organization. There are big, year-long projects as well as smaller, one-time projects, including set-up and tear-down at rehearsals, percussion transportation, and production work behind-the-scenes.
  • PAY DUES: Membership dues help cover our operating expenses, including rehearsal spaces, music licensing, concert venues, and percussion storage. Dues were voted in by Rose City Pride Bands members on a sliding scale of $15–$75 per term.
  • ATTEND REHEARSALS: Your presence at each and every rehearsal is valued and needed. You should plan to miss no more than three rehearsals per term.
  • PRACTICE: Members are expected to practice on a regular basis and, as necessary, for personal musical growth.
