Ensembles

The Rose City Pride Bands comprises four ensembles: two concert bands, a swing band, and a marching band and colorguard. The organization also fosters and supports smaller ensembles that perform alongside our larger groups and on their own.

Our ensembles are non-audition and are filled based on interest and instrumentation. Many of our members haven’t played since high school—however long ago that may be—while others are accomplished musicians. There’s room for all of us.

The Rose City Wind Symphony is our flagship concert band, performing a variety of wind band and orchestral works twice yearly.

The Rose City Symphonic Band is our newest concert band, partnering with local high school bands and performing twice yearly.

Rose City Swing is our 16-piece big band, performing swing gigs throughout the year.

The Rose City Pride Marching Band & Colorguard is our most visible ensemble, marching in pride parades in the warmer months.
